I use Yahoo.com for my home page and search engine.

When I left click into web search bar, the one on the web
page, not up in the menu buttons, a pull down history
menu appears of the most recent topics searched for shows
up. How can I delete / clear that information? I have
gone into Internet Explorer options and cleared and
deleted everything else, Windows history, etc. These
topics still pop up.

Double click on the empty search box. When the list of items show up, use
the down arrow key to highlight the item and click delete.

If you don't want to keep any of these items, go to Tools > Options >
Content > AutoComplete and uncheck the web addresses.

IE > Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete > clear forms.
