Prompting you for what?
If you do not want to add a Live Hotmail account to Outlook, you can simply
uninstall the application.

Are you getting the password dialog constantly? if so, open a support
request at
https://support.microsoft.com/oas/de...rid=6998&&st=1
and get version 14 (beta) of the connector. I was told this fixes the
password popup.

I've tried going to that link, but it prompts me for my outlook reg key. I
don't have it handy. Is there any other way to get the beta version? The
constant prompting for my password is annoying.

Yep, you have to pay for Outlook to get a product key.

There should be a link for it here somewhere (without installing the beta):

Since when does not wanting to bother looking up the product id (what I
think its asking for, not the "cd key") mean the person is using a pirated
copy? I have all legit copies and have done the same as the OP on more than
one occasion. It's a PITA to enter the id since its not copyable.
