How do I cut and paste slides in powerpoint with the background?

The paste options button will not appear to give me the ability to include
the background from the original slide. Please help.

It's always useful to post what "version" of powerpoint you are using, as
things change from version to version.

I'm guessing you are using powerpoint 97 or 2000.... if so see
