How do I create then hide a reminder in Outlook 2003?

Is it possible in Outlook 2003 to create just a reminder, as opposed to a
meeting or appointment? If not, then I guess you just create an appointment
for 0 minutes and turn on the reminder function. Either way, having created
the 'reminder', is it then possible to hide it on the calendar display?

Thanks Roady, but with a Task you cannot nominate an actual time of day for
it be performed, can you?
