You really should use a separate application for doing this. One way is to
use PayPal:

There are seller tools there where you can create copy and paste code to use
in your site. This is probably the least expensive way to start.
Another way that is more of a shopping cart system really is called
CandyPress. You would need to be on a Windows server that can run an Access
database. That is located here:
http://www.candypress.com/CPmain/default.asp
There are lots of other carts out there to purchase as well.
