how do I copy old ost file back to my newly installed outlook

Hi - I was using Outlook 2003 when my laptop died. I had a backup of my .ost
file but it doesn't work on my new pc

It won't work unless you purchase an OST -> PST product. Can't you just
resync your Exchange mailbox to get the contents of the OST back?
