How do I copy my user-created macros to my new computer?

I compiled several word macros for the documents that I use in my law
practice. I am now getting a new laptop set up as my primary computer. I
figured out how to transfer the templates but I'm coming up dry for a way to
transfer my macros. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Copy them to the user documents folder (as determined by the settings in the
File Locations dialog box) of your new computer. Alternatively, if these are
add-ins, place them in the Startup folder for Word.

Macros can be saved in documents or templates. Unless you explicitly saved a
given macro in the current document or template, they are saved in
Normal.dot. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/FilesToBackup.htm. You
might also want to see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/...buteMacros.htm for more ideas (for
example, instead of copying your old Normal.dot to your new machine, you
might want to save it under another name and load it as a global template at
startup).
