I have some old files created in MS Works 4.5 which I was to convert for use
in my new MS Word 2003. I selected "open with" MS Word, but only got a few
lines of symbols. I did not find conversion information when searching the
Office Family update site.

If you still have, or can get access to, Works, you need to open the
file in that and then do a "Save As"

Mr garfield-n-odie. Thank you so much for your information. I was working
along with 4.5 works at 350 mg hz in my business and found myself with
thousands of files and forms that would not work with my new Dells (3.0 gig
mghz whoa!) Word 2003. You, my friend, saved me. and my wife, and my
employees and you can imagine! It worked great!

Thankyou! (E-Mail Removed)
