Windows mail will not allow me to send any mail to anyone because it says
that I have entered the wrong server name. I do not know how to change it,
though, and I do not know what it is. I had the same problem on my old
computer with Outlook Express, which is similar to Windows Mail. How do I
change the server name?

Also, what is the server name for AOL? (America Online, Version 9.0)

Right click the server, click Properties
Check the various tabs and fill in accordingly.

For more information:

Or contact AOL support.

Follow AOL's directions:
http://www.postmaster.aol.com/imap/express.html

Those instructions are for Outlook Express, but they will also work
for Windows Mail.

AOL is your ISP also? In that case, follow AOL's directions:
http://www.postmaster.aol.com/imap/express.html

Those instructions are for Outlook Express, but they will also work
for Windows Mail.

To change the server name of an existing account go to tools, click
accounts, click the account that you want to change then click properties,
click the servers tab in the properties window and follow the directions
given by your ISP. You can also access the properties dialog box by right
clicking the account in the left hand pane and clicking properties.
