I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003 and my editor is Word 2003. The default
style is "normal". However when I try to modify the "normal" style and save
it in templates, the program opens a new style. The default style always
stays "normal".

How can I change the default style to a style of my own so that every time I
write a new email message that style will automatically be used?

You would be better off asking in a Word group as this is a Word issue.
