i think that new mail notification is too bored for me, i would like to

Not unless there is some third-party add-in that will do it...

Sure...sort of...from Outlook go to Tools - Options - Preferences - E-mail
Options - Advanced E-mail Options - Desktop Alert Settings. There you can
adjust the alert duration and the transparency of the alert. Granted...not a
lot of options to cure boredom.

Change the sound file for New Mail Notification to something fun. I have HAL
from 2001 tell me I have a message. Control Panel, Sounds. Lots of wave files
on the Internet you can use.
