How do I change my computer description

I just reinstalled Windoze and it has added some extra stuff to the
description.

I use to be able to type \\winmx to access my computer.

It does not work now.

How do I change the full computer name?

On the screen that you show in the image click the Change button and enter
the name that you want your computer to have. Follow the prompts to finish.

That was way too easy.

I guess there is a reason for two separate items. You would think
the way to change each would at least be the same.

Terry, go to Start>Run type: regedit click Ok Navigate to
HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current Version. click on
Folder and in the rt pane you will see
the Registered Org . Just rt click and select Modify.

Maybe, but it is better and safer to change it through the UI.
