Hello, All!

I was breezing thru setting up a new computer and accepted a default name
computer name... real recognizable like dz3k7uh or similar. How can I change
this to a computer name that is recognizable and a bit more memorable?

Click Start, right click on My Computer and select properties. Click on the
tab "Computer Name" and then the Change button.

Go to the "change name" tab of the system properties window. Here's one way:
1. Open the control panel
2. Double click the sysem icon
3. Navigate to the "computer name" tab.
4. Click the "change" button toward the bottom of the window
5. Type in the desired name.
6. Click "ok" and/or "apply" until you get back to the control panel
7. You'll probably have to reboot.

Try system propertys, computer name tab.
