How do i change the due date on a bunch of tasks at the same time

I have to make due date changes to 50 or so tasks, all to the same due date.
Do i have to do these one-at-a-time, or can i do them all at once? If so,
please tell me how to do it. Thanks.

Create a view and group by due date.
Change the due date of one of the items.
Drag the other items you want to change over the new grouping.

That's the shorthand version. If you need a long hand version, just reply
back and I'll write up much more explicit instructions.
