Under print properties under the main tab, someone added new user settings
with different document styles (1 sided, book style, etc.) Now when printing
it doesn't default to the factory setting of 1 sided, and you must go into
properites each time to print in that layout. How can I change it back to
default to 1 sided?

Start | Settings | Printers and Faxes. Select your default printer, choose
Properties, and select the desired settings.
