How do I change calendar display from list to monthly calendar?

Somehow, my calendar is now displaying all my entries as a list. I'd like
very much to get back to the monthly display. Can't figure out how to do
this, despite fiddling for hours. Please help!

Depending on Outlook version: View->Arrange By->Current
View->Day/Week/Month.

Otherwise, enable the Advanced toolbar and use the dropdown to change it to
Day/Week/Month.
