How do I change an animation in Power Point?

The help file states you can click "change" to change an entrance. When I
click on the animation, I only get "Add" - how can I get "change?"

Rather than selecting the object on the slide select the animation you wish
to change in the custom animation task pane. If you select the animation the
change option will be visible.

Thanks. I was clicking on the drop down arrow on the animation, but I see
you have to click to the left or in the center.
