Hi Admin,
You didn't mention the version of Word. In Word 2007 create an equation using Alt= on the keyboard or Insert=>Equation and then
type AB/AD then a space.
In prior versions of Word you can use the Equation Editor
Insert=>Field=>EQ=>Equation Editor
and select a Fraction template
or you can use an EQ field
Insert=>Field=>EQ=>Field Codes
and type EQ \F(AB,AD)
(Note that the last two options are still available in Word 2007 through
Insert=>Quick Parts=>Field=>EQ
