Ive seen powerpoint shows where a slide is opened...it has a header and a one
line thought. when you hit next slide the last one greys out and the new
thought is imposed in black on the new slide so slide after slide you add a
thought while the past thoughts are seen but in a faded grey...how do you do
that...Thanks

Enter your text on the slide in Bullet points
Go to view>>>task pane
In Task Pane go to drop down and select custom animation
Click once and highlight the textbox with your bullet points
in the task pane choose appear (or another animation)
once the animation is set, your animations will be listed
choose the first animation listed, access the drop down... go to effects
Now...
you can choose the color and some other parameters
Test in slide show and adjust to your liking.
