I want to return my PC to its 'out of box' state however I want Outlook to
remain exactly as it is right now. I'm on Windows XP & failed miserably with
the 'Files & Settings Transfer Wizard' previously so can't rely on that.

In Outlook 2002 I have contacts, tasks, forms, views, new fields etc etc.
From research its appears that just saving my .pst file will not cover
everything.

Is there a steadfast way to backup everything and return it to its current
state, including anything I might have forgotten (like my signature or
autotext entries etc.)? No upgrades will be done and I am using home PC so
no Exchange Server.

Thanks.

In addition to backing up the pst-file also run the Office Save My Settings
Wizard to save your Office settings.

Thanks for the response and I will use that. However, due to my unsuccessful
use of the XP Wizard last time I cleaned the system up can you please point
me to an additional way of backing up the Outlook information in case the
Office Wizard fails (or I fail in using it correctly). I have thought of
saving all of my Application Data files and folders under my username - would
that cover everything in case I had to use it in an emergency?
