How do I automatically send messages from one sender to a folder?

I've done this before but can't seem to do it now. I want all my work email
shunted off to a work folder, using a filter. I'd also like to use the
filter to clean up my inbox of all work email (and send it to the same
filter). I'd really appreciate help. I'm getting so tired of seeing work
stuff in my personal inbox.

Define a rule that checks on the sender or their domain to move items
into a different folder.
