I have a publication in adobe acrobat (pdf) format and I am trying to make a
link from my webpage in front page to the pdf file. I seem to be unable to
figure this out. I have saved the file in my web folder and go to where I
want the link to be, highlight it, click the attach button, choose the pdf
file. When I'm in front page I can control click the link and it works, but
after I publish it and go on the www, it doesn't work. From the www, adobe
acrobat will look like it's starting out and then I get a blank page, titled
correctly with the pdf file but nothing is coming up.

Please help!!!

Create text, highlight it, then Insert | hyperlink, browse to your PDF.

Same question asked and answered multiple times every week ;-)

File | Import the pdf into your web.
Create a link to it on a page.
Publish to your remote web.

If it's a big pdf it may take awhile.

have the web open, open the page (or create the page) you want the link on.
Import the pdf file, create a hyperlink to the file, publish both the pdf and
html page.

In 97% of the cases that is correct.

However, there are apparently a few older versions of Acrobat out there
where the users never bothered to get the patches to correct a problem with
(I think) Acrobat 5.0 that hangs them up when opening directly from the web.
If you save them and open, works fine, but if you occasionally see a blank
page, that may be why.
