How do I add a second Active Directory-Integrated DNS Server?

I have read differing things online in other posts so I thought I would
just ask.

Our current setup: Multiple domain controllers, mostly 2000 server but
we have one 2003 DC. DNS is currently running on a Windows 2000 Domain
Controller as Active Directory Integrated.

I would like to make the 2003 DC a DNS server as well. Right now it is
a member server. I will be upgrading it to a DC soon. Do I need to
configure anything in DNS before I run DCPROMO or do I configure DNS as
part of AD installation?

How will it work? Will I have to configure any zones? Or will it just
grab them all from the existing AD Domain controller?

Thank you for your help.

Dustin

If you promote the Win2k3 as a replica DC, the zones will replicate. Do not
point the Win2k3 to itself for DNS until the zones have replicated.
