DNS Querying external servers - Help please

Hi All,

Our internal DNS servers are setup to resolve internal queries which they
do. If they can't find the address they are setup to forward to one of the
two external DNS servers we have.

The issue that I'm having is that the two internal DNS servers appear to be
querying servers other than our two outside servers. Is this normal
behaviour? how can I stop them from doing this.

Thanks in advance,

Chris Henderson

On the Forwarders tab, put a check in the box 'Do not use recursion' the
will force DNS to use the forwarders defined and not to use recursion by
contacting the root servers.
