I have a PC running windows XP and IE 6 SP1 that is unable
to view secures websites. Each time the user attempts to
access an HTTPS site they get the standard IE DNS error.
I noticed also when attempting to access Windows Update
that they get a message that Windows Update is unable to
load because ActiveX is blocked/disabled and that the
security setting are too high. I set the the security
setting to low and continue to have the same problem.

Any help would be apprecated.

Doug,

Had the same problem, go to:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=813444

you should hopefully find answers in here. I had to re-
register some of my .dll files, that seemed to do the
trick, but work through the sheet anyway and try loading
a secure site after each step.

Hope this helps, post reply back on this thread,

cheers,

Glyn
