Hmm, can you post the domain name and your ipconfig /all?
I'm not sure you are looking at the correct article. This artcle covers the
NetBIOS name of the computer being different that the host name in DNS I
believe.
Are you sure you don't have a disjointed namespace, which is when the DNS
domain name does not match the Computer DNS suffix? This is a lot more
common.
