Hello.
We have a Windows 2000 Advanced server (SP4), connected to a SAN with a
Qlogic 2342L fc card. We mounted a volume from that SAN on the D: drive (e.g:
D:\Mounted).
Everything was ok, and then suddenly we can no longer delete folders
directly from the mounted volume (e.g: deleting D:\Mounted\Test does not work
any more, error is 'Cannot delete...Access Denied. The source file might be
in use'), but the process works when using a network access (e.g: deleting
\\Servername\D$\Mounted\Test works). Full control access is given to Everyone
on the mounted volume. I use the same user to access the volume remotely or
locally.
When I try to locally delete a file/locally move a folder or a file/locally
create a file or a folder, there is no error, and the process works. Only
deleting a folder does not work.
The following entry occur in the log when you try to delete a folder. I have
found nothing about it on the web. Any idea?
