This is a hardware error.
I had this error at home a while back... Not with Windows Defender but with
a disk defragmenter. In the end it meant that my disk was failing. Chkdsk is
fine, because there's no corruption yet, but beware: you should back up all
important data off the disk, because there is a good chance it will die soon.
My disk lasted for another 2 months before dying.
