I have a small problem which doesn't seem to affect the
stability of my laptop, however every time I power the PC
up after hibernation I get the dialog: "dmadmin.exe has
generated errors and will be closed by Windows...."etc,
etc. Any ideas why this is happening?
Windows 2000 Professional SP4, Hitachi_DK23EB-40 IDE HD,
disk.sys version 5.00.2195.6655, NTFS Dynamic disk, 2
partitions: 7.7 GB and 30 GB.

Dynamic disks are not supported on laptop computers, and this option should
not have been available. This MS Knowledge Base article has more

I guess that dmadmin suddenly wakes up, detects a dynamic disk on a laptop,
and just wants to go to sleep again, just as I would like to do on monday
mornings...
