I know that there a few people in this newsgroup using DialogMate.
A new version of DialogMate, named DM2 has just been released :

http://dm2.sourceforge.net/index.html

"Minimizes windows to floating icons, freeing task bar and tray bar
space. Besides, DM2 can minimize windows to tray, make them standing
always on-top over all other windows, set window's opacity etc. DM2 also
helps with Open/Save dialog boxes, by providing user-defined menu with
favorites files and folders. Plenty of program's settings options will
satisfy most of requirements."

Regards,
Mario

Yep, I am one of those and downloaded it last night. I am only
disappointed that they didn't add the windows rollup feature. I run a
stripped down version of winroll for this now but would love to see
part of DM. Perhaps I will write a plugin, hmmm.

Mouseimp has rollup feature that you might look at (if you like the
other features as well, or if you can read the source code):

Download Mouseimp Pro Live, and if you want the scrolling feature in
Firefox, get the DLL to replace one that will install in mouseimp
folder.

Instead of rolling up into a horizontal bar, DM2 rolls up into a
transparent floating icon. Pretty nice! Did you miss that Toad?
Seems better than a horizontal bar to me.
