DLLHost.exe problems

Hi All,

I am having some issues with DLLHost.exe on one of my
servers. It was running W2K SP2 but I updated to SP4 as
suggested on Knowledge Base and is also running IIS.
There are multiple instances of DLLHost.exe running and it
is chewing up memory resources like nothing else.

I have tried running the Welchia worm removal tool incase
it was a worm but no luck. The only way to clear the leak
seems to be by performing a full reboot of the server
every couple of days.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this it would
be much appreciated.

Thanks
Adam Galvin

Scan your PC with an external virus scanner,
e.g. on www.antivirus.com ("free online scan").

I'm having the same problem... seems at least a handfull of people ar
since the latest MS patch.

I've done multiple scans for viruses from different vendors, and non
have found anything.

The DLLHOSTS.exe gradually eats up memory, and CPU Usage is near 100%.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thx

For those interested, it seems my problem was in some code a programme
changed.

We host multiple sites, and this site helped me track down the sit
causing the problem.

Good luck
