DLL References - New versions overridden

Hello All,
I have removed old version Crystal Decisions dll
references from my project and replaced them with the
newest version. However, when I rebuild my project, the
new references I had added get replaced by the old
versions (the references that were removed). The paths to
the files go to 2 different directories and I can see in
the reference properties that the path changes from the
new back to the old after I rebuild. Does anyone have any
ideas on what causes the new references to be replaced?
