MS Outlook died with a fatal error. I deleted MS Office, reinstalled, but get
a DLL Load window upon boot, which says "IOCTL_SETPORT could not be found".
Outlook still won't load, can't find reference to this error message
anywhere, including registry, and an app (United Devices) can't communicate
with its server. Where do I go to fix this prob? Thanks

Delete ViPrt.sys from the \system32\drivers\ directory and try. Post back with result

There are Outlook and Office setup newsgroups. Look under
microsoft.public.outlook and microsoft.public.office.

Thanks for the suggestion. Deleted ViPrt.sys, but no improvement...did soft
reboot...again no difference...did hard reboot...but nothing.
