I am running windows xp also have an adware program
running. Every time the adware program starts it finds
mxtarget.dll file, I have also found 10 of this same file
with the same name on my computer and was wondering if it
is safe to delete these without hurting my operating
system.

"Mxtarget.dll" is a spyware file. You should delete it immediately.
