DLL Error

After installing Win XP Home I now keep getting an Error:
"Failed to load resource DLL" everytime I re-boot or turn
on my computer and then try to open a program, ie. IE6,
Outlook, MS Calender, etc....What does it mean and how do
I repair this error?
