Distribution lists

I created a distribution list and gave it a name. When I use it, I only want
the name of the distribution list to appear in the "To:" field; I don't want
all of the names of the people in the group to appear. I know you can use
the blind copy to keep all the names from appearing, but I don't want to do
this - I want to be able to put the group name in the "To:" field.

Thanks, Ladybug

That's not possible with an Outlook-based distribution list. You'll need a
mail enabled server level distribution list for that.
For the difference see;

ladybug,
1. Create a new Contact in your Contact folder, such as Ladybug's Friends
2. Use your email address, better yet either get another email address from
Hotmail, or other mail service.
example: (E-Mail Removed)
3. Place this in the TO: Line.
4. Place the Distribution List in the BCC Line: of the message.
5. Add the new Hotmail acct, or whatever the service you choose, to Outlook,
so you can receive any replies from the list.
