Setup
====
Outlook XP/2002 SP3
Windows XP SP2
Joined to a domain on a Small Business Server 2003 SP1 Exchange SP2
ActiveSynch 3.8 to Pocket PC
Symantec Corporate A/V v10 - Unmanaged client

Problem
======
Personal Distribution list of 25 email addresses. Send an email to the DR.
Randomly 3 or 4 different email addresses will NOT get the email which can be
determined by reading the sent email folder. Different email addresses are
dropped apparently randomly.

Happening on two different but same spec computers.

ANY ideas?

TIA

Graeme

DL's have never been a reliable solution for grouping Contacts. They are
buggy and impossible to troubleshoot. Look for alternatives such as
Categories or separate Contact subfolders.

Russ - much as I might respect the MVP part - this is the first time I have
seen this problem in over 90 clients. DR's are also a cornerstone of parts
of Exchange Server. So respectfully I don't go with your idea - anyone else
got any ideas here?

I agree with you they should be reliable.
I'm only telling you what is, not what it should be.
Perhaps the volume of replies that you get to tell you how to fix this will
convince me otherwise.
You should also post to an Exchange group and clarify where these DL's
reside.
