Distribution list not showing in address book?

Hi,

We are running Outlook 2003 with an Exchange backend in a Windows domain.
In active directory I created a new distribution list. When I look for it
in my address book it doesn't show up. Is there some step I missed? How do
I get a distribution list to be visable and usable in my global address
book?

Thanks in advance,
Linn

distribution lists that you create on exchange are shown by default in the
global address list except if you checkmark the otion "hide group from global
address list" on the "advanced" tab in the properties window of the list in AD

Ah, yes that was my problem. When I created the group I didn't allow it to
create an email mailbox for it so I didn't have the options associated with
Exchange. I recreated the group and it works fine now.

Thanks,
Linn
