Distribution List Issue in Outlook 2007

I am running Office 2007 on a Windows XP xomputer. In Outlook, when I choose
a distribution list as a mail message receipient, I cannot expand the list.
The "+" appears to the left of the list, however when I click on it the "To:"
field goes blank. The strange this is that after clicking on the "+", scroll
arrows appear to the right of the "To:" field. Clicking on these arrows does
nothing. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!
