Thanks for your reply.
I asked simply because I try to close as many services as possible that can
potentially affect the security of the machines on the network.
I already terminate the Messenger and DCOM services, but about the MSDTC
service, I was not shure of the consequences.
So I prefer to educate myself before doing the changes, and then, receives
tons of complaints that this and that does not work anymore.
