Distributed File System Problems + Server hangs

Hi Y'all,

I configured a dfs root on my 2000 (SP4) server, and created a dfs link,
for a folder which points to a share on another server.
Now, a couple of months later, i try to add another dfs link for the same
dfs root, pointing to another server, but when i want to change anything
in the dfs configuration my server hangs. Have to reboot the machine completely.

Is there any way to reinstall the DFS component of windows 2000 server?

Appreciate any suggestions.
