Is there a way to evenly distribute objects in a circle around a center point
- similiar to the Distribute Horizontally or Vertically commands?

I don't believe this is possible.

I guess you'd have to work out how many objects and divide that by 360,

then rotate each object around a centre point (by grouping) by the result of
the calculation above

or do it in corel/illustrator and import it into powerpoint

Hi

You could use Insert->Diagram->Radial Diagram. It's a little restrictive but
you can at least change the colour of each circle and animate them separately
(though with the same effect - a bit like animating a list of bullet points
in a placeholder).

If this is in 2007, this is a great use for SmartArt. Looks way cooler than
the old diagramming tool too.

Mr. Butcher, your best bet is CorelDraw. Draw has tools designed
specifically to do that very thing with any type of objects, and they all
could transfer into PowerPoint as ungroupable and potentially editable
objects. I can't think of any internal strategy that approaches the
flexibility of a good drawing program with commands designed for that very
task...
