Hi, For the last year since ive been using the laptop i have always used it
at 1024 x 768.

All of a sudden it has begun to appear blurry and all the icons and windows
have widened. I am not sure how to revert it back to its normal settings.

Thanks

It could be a damaged graphics card. But it more likely that a registry
entry, hard drive glitch, or a game changed the color and/or screen
resolution, damaged the graphics card drivers, or even caused them to
disappear. A couple of things to try:

- Open Display Properties, click Settings, change the screen and color
resolution. If more color, etc. isn't available, you'll probably have
to reinstall the drivers.

- Use System Restore to revert to a restore point dated before the change.

i did install a game a week ago which plays in full screen mode. Ive tried
system restore and that doesnt make any difference and the color is at its
max.

Run the game, and exit it normally. Hopefully it'll revert to your
pre-game settings. If you crashed out of the game, you may have
remained in that resolution..
