Dissappearing Email

I downloaded and installed Office 2003 60 day trial. When I opened Outlook
the most recent message is dated 9/6/04 (today is 10/11/04). I have looked
in the "view" drop down but I don't see anything that would cause theis. I
am afraid of the worst, that my email has been vaporized. Please tell me
this did not happen. I did not save a copy of my PST file before I upgraded.
