We run a DFS root with 3 computers running replica sets.
During replication, files will literally dissapear. I
understand the first time they replicate they do that, but
the DFS and FRS find the need to re-replicate the whole
folder almost every other day. When the shares are
replicating, all the files dissapear! It's terrible for
business when you can't get files open or log on. I know
that after the replication they re-appear, but we are on a
Gigabit network segment, and after 4 days very little, if
anything, re-appeared.
Why would the FRS and DFS keep replicating files.
