Displaying an Orb on a form

I am trying to extend System.Windows.Form to include a Orb similar to
Office 2007 windows. I am handling WM_NCPAINT and other non client area
related messages.

I have this working reasonably well in XP but I have some problems with
Vista and Windows 7.

Can any one point me to a good example, preferably in C#, of extending and
painting the non-client area using the Desktop Windows Manager. Win32 calls
like DwmExtendFrameIntoClientArea(), etc.
