I am using macromedia dreamweaver 4. When I display a
created page in IE6 there is no problem. However, when I
try to diplay an index.htm page with frames, the frames
themselves display but in palce of each page I get the
page or site unavailable message.

What have I done changed? What can I do to fix it?

in tools>internet options>security (in the various zones) there should be an
entry "Navigate subframes across domains" or something similar.

Could it be that?

There is also a hidden "Local" zone called "My Computer" for which this
utility might be useful.

Sorry I am only guessing but I'd imagine it depends on how dreamweaver or
whatever is referencing such frames, it may behave differently when the site
is wholly uploaded etc.
