I need to find out how much disk space each folder uses. Is there a quick
way to do this with Win2000?

Thanks.

Bob

PS -- Also, I forgot to add.... I would like to know the total number of
files in a folder including subfolders quickly.

Not easy with on-board tools. I use TreeSize Pro which can be integrated
with Explorer.

In explorer Right Click the folder and select Properties. It will display
exactly what you asked for on the General Tab of the Properties Dialog box.

FOLDER SIZE V 3.2
http://www.freewareweb.com/cgi-bin/archive.cgi?ID=620

A free shell extension for Windows 95/98 and NT.
It adds a new tab to the Properties dialog that displays
a folder's and drive's size. This new page allows you see the folders
and sub folders sizes (in a hierarchical tree). To access to the
options (units, sort, etc.) a contextual menu is provided. Folder Size
Shell Extension delivers useful information and integrates well into
Windows 95/98 and NT's existing structure.

To activate this extension, right-click on a folder (or on a drive),
and click on Properties in the contextual menu. Windows Explorer
displays the Properties dialog with a new page named Size.
