displaying # of contacts in each folder and subfolder

's Computer Specifications

this used to appear in lower left hand corner so i could tell how many
contacts were in each folder --- but no more. Does anyone know how to make
this happen? i'd love it if it could be permanent and not disappear on me
again. thanks for your help.
