Displaying (and printing) a directory tree

I'm looking for a utility for XP that works like I remember that the old
DOSTREE command worked - that is, it will print a list of directories
and the files in those directories, in an indented format, something
like this:

folder one
a file in folder one
another file
folder two
filename one
filename two
sub-folder of folder two
a file in that subfolder

and so on. As I recall, DOSTREE also displayed vertical and horizontal
lines in the indent area. I don't need anything other than the folder
and file names.

I've downloaded a few programs that sounded like they'd do the job, but
they weren't what I had in mind.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, Peter

I'm not sure if this will work. You can set it up to include what
aspects of a directory you want;

Here are some more to look at .

Folder Print:

Print Folder:

Click on Download in the right hand column & go to Freeware .

Print Directory V 3.1

List - FC

File Lister

Treecopy

JR Directory Printer

Directory Lister
http://strony.wp.pl/wp/skorczyl/freewarez/dd.html
Lets you list files in selected directories on hard disks, cd-roms,
floppys etc. into a HTML or TXT file (listing). It's like the DIR
command but MUCH more convenient.

DIR2HTML
http://www.pc-tools.net/win32/freeware/dir2html/
DIR2HTML creates an HTML index from a file system directory. This is
useful for building file lists, cataloging contents of CD-ROMS, etc.
The program can index either a single directory or multiple
directories at once recursively.

Wouldn't "tree /F" do the job?

That would be far to easy, wouldn't it ?

Yes, it would do just fine - however I didn't know that it existed :-(

Thanks, Fred.
